Spring to Monochrome

Monochrome is being recycled this year for S/S13 and the staying in because of the snow made me feel a bit white and black. I decided to experiment with black and white and ended up with zebra print nails.

These nails have been done a lot and they're so easy. You can tell I have been lazy with my nail art lately but I promise you there is so much tricky looking but easy to do one's coming up in the next few days including outfits.

All you need:

♥ Base/Top Coat

♥ Black Nail Polish with Nail art brush / Black Nail Art Polish / Black Nail Art Pen

♥ White Nail Polish

I haven't got my usual step by step images for you since it is so easy to do. So, Protect, Paint and Get Creative!

♥ Protect your nails with a clear coat.

I have been doing so much nail art with you here in my blog that I very easily run out of base coat and forget to buy more, so for now I am using my No. 7 So Bright Nail Brightener and it looks too pretty to cover, it really brightens up your nails giving it a natural and healthy shine, especially for these cold months.

Moving back onto topic, I then applied my white nail polish and after it had dried I used my nail art brush to draw curvy black lines. As you can see I have made the zebra patterns on each nail so varied. It was fun, quick and easy.

♥ Paint all nails white

♥ Get creative with your zebra monochrome

Don't make curves too harsh, less is more here, so do slight curves. Also, when doing your second line try to follow around the first curve and so on. You can vary each nail as much as you want.
