I have written in a journal for as long as I can remember. I still have diary entries from when I was ten years old and when I have spent long periods of time not writing I have to pick up the pen. The same goes for reading. I don’t know what fuelled this drive to read and write from such a young age. I just know that I have so much to share about my journey on conscious living, minimalism, books, travel and personal growth.

Writing (and drawing) has helped me process difficult times in my life and this blog has been my retreat for some of those difficult times. I love that I can write my heart out on paper and then weave the words together to describe otherwise unexplained feelings into neat essays from the heart to touch others. I always knew that I wanted to make a positive impact on people’s lives, but it took me a while to learn how I would do that. With my passion for writing Channel Malia became my offering. What started as an escape from the pressures of my world is written for you to escape to for a few moments in the day. I am forever grateful for the heartfelt messages you have sent me on Instagram and YouTube.

This blog is intended as a sanctuary with mindfulness tips to live consciously, minimalism to live powerfully and matters of the heart. I am focused on nourishing my mind and with that Channel Malia has become a community of people who want to channel their true self and design a life they love.
